Chinese soups, butterflies and traditional Cantonese food are among the main dishes of Ivory Tower, a restaurant and shop at the same time bringing the historic center of Havana a good portion of Chinese cuisine.
The house that occupies the restaurant is dating from the eighteenth century and is located in Mercaderes Street area of the city in the second half of the nineteenth century was characterized by the presence of various commercial establishments.
The restaurant has a main hall decorated with pieces of Chinese art in porcelain and wood, traditional Chinese motifs with colors mainly red and gold, reserved for lunches, business dinners or special celebrations lounge and patio light offers.
It also stands within the smoked meats fried rice and vegetarian menu.
Another attraction of the place is specialized in Chinese products store, among those listed medicines, tea and incense. Suggestions include traditional Cantonese dishes.
The Ivory Tower is near the Hotel Ambos Mundos, the Model of the Historical Center, Havana 1791 perfume, spices house Marco Polo, the Wagner garden Store The Ship and a House of Habanos.
