Hostal D' Cordero is a house located in the city center, very close to the Leoncio Vidal Park, in the historical center of Santa Clara. Built in 1930 with eclectic style residence of Dr. Elio Fileno Cardenas, former Senator of the Republic by the province of Las Villas from 1940 to 1948. The property has 5 comfortable private rooms, high ceilings, natural ventilation and air conditioning. The first room remains Venetian style diner, followed by another that has an elegant Louis XVI furniture, both ancient baths with marine motifs. Also, room number 3 responds to the taste of the 50s with all its refurbished parts and a large bathroom that also responds to the time mode. As a special detail this piece bears a large-scale painting by local artist Juan Ramon Valdes Gomez (Yiki). The last of the rooms known for its Louis XV decoration, a large window with beautiful stained glass windows and a living room with wicker furniture style Diana, similarly brings together a rich collection of Cuban and foreign, ancient and contemporary paintings,a rich collection of Cuban and foreign, ancient and contemporary paintings. The rest of the house also remains decorated with various collections of paintings, porcelain, glass, bronzes and lamps, among other smart objects.
